Delilah is a beautiful gray and white tuxedo girl who loves to play and also loves to snuggle with her people.  She is a true lap cat and if there's a lap, she's in it. She is extremely social (although may be slow to warm up to new people) and will push her nose into your hand when she wants to be petted, which is all the time! She is a little neurotic and makes the funniest sounds.  Since her sister JK was adopted, she has become a little depressed as they were very attached and while she gets along with the other cats and two dogs in the house, she prefers human companionship. She sleeps in her foster mom's bed every night and cuddles on the couch with her or her husband in the evenings.

Delilah was rescued as a tiny kitten with her sister JK and they were adopted together in late 2007. Unfortunately, she and her sister were returned to IBOK in 2010 as their adopters could no longer care for them. JK was adopted in December 2011, but Delilah is still waiting for a home of her own.  She lives in her original foster home and her foster parents would adopt her, but feel she deserves a home where she can get more attention since she enjoys human contact so much.

In early 2012, she developed a severe urinary tract infection requiring surgical intervention.  Since then, she has been on a strictly wet food diet to keep her healthy and should not have dry kibble.  This makes her somewhat of a special needs kitty in that she cannot be adopted to a home with other kitties who are free fed dry kibble.  Her recent vet check up was all good and she is in great shape and ready to move on to a home where she can get the love and attention that she craves and deserves.

Delilah is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
